Tv March 31 Flowers for Emily Completed!*SUBMISSION PROCESS COMPLETED 3/24/07* The ISBN of your book will be: 0-595-44499-7 The process is as follows, the publisher will do an editorial review and make any suggestions as to editing or changes and while that is going on the cover art will be started. Hopefully there will not be much editing with this book so once I've given my final okay on the manuscript and cover, it will be blocked for publishing and eBook purchase. I'm hoping this process will take no more than a month and of course I will advise as to an actual release date. For those who have asked, I did inquire about pre-ordering and unfortunately, is not available. They did however, assure me that the title will be readily available everywhere online as soon as it's ready. Again, my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has encouraged me, supported me, and assisted me, your kindness will not be forgotten! TTFN! T March 16 Busy, Busy, BusyWeeeelll now.. isn't life grand? My life has pretty much been turned upside down since last I posted a blog here. The company I was with for 4 years was bought out and downsized, leaving a great bunch of folks out of a job, including me and my husband. I have since started a new job with a good bit more responsibilities and my husband, poor lug, is still looking.
For book news.. TTS is still struggling in the trenches and Flowers for Emily is in a state of suspended animation at the moment. I have had the excellent fortune of working with a stellar writer/editor in NJ to which I will now co-author FFE with. I am excited to work on this project with Karyn and feel FFE will be a much better book for the collaboration. I will update more when I have a better idea of a time frame. Until then, take care and peace out. January 27 Hellooooooo!I hope 2006 has been a wonderful year for everyone, it's been pretty busy in the Vance household so far. I've been working on FFE a good bit this month, keeping up with websites, work, toddlers...
On the news front, unfortunately TTS did not place in either the Writer's Digest nor Jada Press contests it was entered into, but we will get them with FFE! In efforts to help promote TTS, Cafe Press now hosts an online store for TTS gear. Take care and God Bless ! ~ TV October 02 Blessed SundayIn the world we live in there are rare instances that I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of others, but today is one of those instances. As of this morning I have acquired a line editor and a graphic artist for Flowers for Emily, and express my humble gratitude to Karyn and Jenn for their faith in my work. Also, to Tami Brady with TCM Reviews who has voluntarily chosen The Third Son as TCM's Featured Book this week. I am so honored, and thrilled that you enjoyed my novel enough to put us in the spot light this week! Carol, Kimmer, and Tina, I appreciate you girls taking on the East coast for me and helping to spread the word, your hard work and dedication are soooo appreciated. I have eased up on promotion enough to return to FFE and I strive to have this book out by Spring so if I seem lax in communication in the next few months, do not think I am abandoning you, because I am only trying to fulfill your wishes for another novel to enjoy!
